SoftSolz Products and Subscriptions is subscription billing software for UK small businesses. Keep one price list for quotes and invoices, and put customers on weekly to yearly plans. Each renewal raises a numbered invoice and charges their saved card through your own Stripe account, with a 0% SoftSolz fee and automatic retries. Included in every plan, from Free.
02How it works
No infrastructure to run and nothing to install on a server. Set it up once in your workspace.
03Use cases
A few of the ways teams put it to work. Use it however your business runs.
Monthly memberships that renew and charge the saved card, with a page where members update their card or cancel.
Weekly plans with a quantity per customer, each renewal invoiced and charged automatically.
Monthly retainers and support plans that bill themselves, with credit notes when you need to adjust a bill.
Monthly and yearly prices, discount codes for launches, and usage-based billing where you need it.

07Questions
Products and Subscriptions is included in every SoftSolz plan, with 19 other apps. A new workspace is free for 14 days with no card needed, then paid plans are £20, £60 or £100 a month, differing only in limits such as team seats. Pay yearly and save 20%. SoftSolz takes a 0% platform fee; Stripe's fees apply to each payment.
SoftSolz retries the payment automatically on a schedule you set, and lists every failing subscription in one queue so you can see who needs a nudge. Customers can update their card on their own page. When a retry succeeds, the payment is recorded as recovered and the plan carries on without you doing anything.
Yes. Each customer gets a page where they can update their card details or cancel their plan without emailing you. It saves you admin, and a simple way to cancel is one of the things that makes people comfortable signing up to a subscription in the first place.
Yes. A product can have more than one price, such as monthly and yearly, and each can be flat, per unit, tiered or volume-based. Usage-based billing covers anything you charge per unit used. Plans run weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly, with a quantity where a customer takes more than one.
Preview the prorated charge before you confirm a change, so there are no surprises for you or the customer, or schedule the change for the next renewal date instead. Credit notes come off the customer's next invoice, and plans can be paused and resumed when a customer needs a break.
Not at the moment. Renewals are charged to the customer's saved card through your own Stripe account, and failed payments retry on your schedule. UK Bacs Direct Debit is not currently offered, so if most of your customers prefer to pay by Direct Debit, a specialist Direct Debit provider may suit you better.
Nothing already sent changes. Quotes and invoices keep the price they were sent at, and only new documents pick up the new price. If you stop selling something, retire it rather than deleting it, and everything that already used it keeps working with its history intact.
For a small business with straightforward plans, it can be. You get one price list shared with quotes and invoices, weekly to yearly plans, retries on your schedule, a self-service page and recurring revenue reporting, as part of your SoftSolz plan with 19 other apps. Stripe Billing is stronger for complex billing, with Smart Retries and more than 100 payment methods.
